. democrats were plus-7, when president obama got elected last year. and they were there. last night, when terry mcauliffe won the governorship. if you get presidential election type turnout in virginia, from here on out in all of their elections, republicans will never win again in that state. look specifically at the african-american turnout. when the republicans won that governorship back in 2009, the black turnout was 16%. when president obama was on the ballot last year, black turnout turned up to 20% of the electorate. last night again, black turnout was 20% of the electorate. african-american voters in virginia turned out. even though it was not a presidential year. even though it was an off-off year. and if african-american voters can turn out like that again in every election in virginia, that is a nightmare for the republican party. so yeah, ken cuccinelli lost, and the republicans lost the governorship. both of those are history-defying, bad news, bad bench marks for the republican party. and who turned out, looks bad for virginia republicans not just for last night's race but f

under president obama unemployment remains too high among 18 to 29-year-olds. according to the department of labor the total jobless rate is 10.9%. that's well above the national average of 7.3%. moving on. in 2012 a record number of millennials. they are still living home with mom and dad. 21.6 million total, much higher than the 18.5 million in 2007. also in terms of median income, we have uncovered a disturbing trend. sadly it's declined over the past five years, starting in 2007 at 33,000, dropping all the way to just over 30 grand in 2012. let not your heart be troubled. there is good newens tonight from my perspective. the group represented by the young people behind me prefer republicans at this moment over president obama on almost every issue. the gop has a ten-point advantage when it comes to handling the economy. a five-point advantage on health care and millennials trust the republicans in congress more than the regarding the budget and the controversial subject of immigration reform. on that very hopeful note it's time to welcome in our studio audience. how

, people at work, people in your neighborhood? who do you trust on obama care? all the coverage out there and everything that's taken place, especially this week. this week has really been a very interesting week. but who do you trust, and what influences you? you know, when i was growing up, there was a lot of news in the '60s. my mom was a high school english teacher, my dad was an aeronautical engineer, he worked for the government at the norfolk naval air base, and when they would come home, we would have dinner. it was pretty traditional back in those days, you know. we sat around the table and watched the evening news. it was walter cronkite. i'll tell you what. my mom and dad, they trusted walter cronkite. i mean, if he said it, that was it. that's the way it was. do you feel that way about peach you watch today? i would like to think that you trust me. certainly, there's no comparison between his accomplishments and mine. that's not where i'm going. what i'm going to is, you know, i want you to trust me. and i want you to know that i have my opinions. but i don't make stuff
